I just got hate for putting my username on a manip I made.

I’m aware that I didn’t take the original picture but thats not the original picture anymore. The purpose for putting a username/copyright/watermark, whatever you wanna call it, is so others don’t steal it. I put my user, and so does 99% of tumblr, on everything that I make. Nowhere on my blog does it say that I claim everything that’s in a graphic. I give credit where credit is do in my resource page. Thank you very much!
